Puppy Pre-Canine Course

Your little bundle of fuzz is adorable until he's found with a giant bundle of fuzz from shredding the couch cushions! The best way to have a well-behaved dog is to create one while they're still obnoxious puppies. Our Puppy Pre-K9 Course will cover the how-tos of puppy socialization, essential commands, and solutions for the ugly stuff...housetraining, chewing, mouthing, nipping, jumping up and just plain not listening!  This class is perfect for pups 5 months of age and under.  $275 for three sessions of private training

Cultured Canine Course

While dogs aren't expected to know the difference between the dessert and salad forks, we do expect them to not stand on the dinner table! This course is perfect for a dog learning how to be a courteous canine for the first time. During a one-on-one session with owner, trainer and dog, key commands will be introduced. With some time your dog will be fluent in the language of sit, down, stay, heel, leave it and come. Loose leash walking, appropriate greeting behavior and helpful ways to maintain good behavior in your dog are also covered. The whole family is encouraged to attend, the more the merrier! This course is great for dogs 5 months and older...even old dogs can learn many, many new tricks! $275 for three sessions of private training

Custom Private Training

Is your dog already a whiz at some commands but struggling with others? Are there behaviors you'd like your dog to learn that aren't covered in the Cultured Canine and Puppy Pre-Canine courses? Let us know! A custom program can be tailored specifically to you and your dog's needs. Custom in-home private training $125 for initial session $95 an hour for additional sessions $275 for a package of three sessions

Aggression

Even the best dog can lose it's "cool" and show its temper... and teeth! They're still our fantastic, loveable dogs and there is help out there for many dog-to-dog and dog-to-human aggression problems. On The Waggin is not accepting aggression clients at this time, however we won't leave you hanging! Send us an email and we can give you strong recommendations for qualified and kind trainers who have years of experience with NYC's aggressive pet and shelter dogs.
